With the global focus change from Agriculture to industrialisation there has been side effects that have extreme down effects on the global terrain. One of such is the plastic pollution  from manufactured goods. According to Wikipedia, ''Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic objects and particles (e.g. plastic bottles, bags and microbeads) in the Earth's environment that adversely affects humans, wildlife and their habitat .'' It varies in size from micro to meso to macro debris. It is said that plastics are inexpensive and easily adaptable for different uses, as a result a popular choice for manufacturers yet paradoxucally the chemical structure of most plastics makes them resist the earthly natural process of degradation thus extremely slow to degrade in many situations.
