Bebugs...(Yikes!)

Are you aware that bed bugs (climex lectularis) and the 'tropical bed bugs' (climex hemipterus) can infest any type of human living quarters and may not only be found in housing and short duration accomodation such as hostels and hotels, but also in cinemas, buses/trucks, police cells and holding areas. These organisms are attracted by exhaled carbondioxide (CO2) and body heat and not just by dirt. They feed on blood, not waste, so in short the cleanliness of their environment has an effect on the control of bedbugsz but does not eradicate them... Be informed!

Cleaning It All...

When you are standing in a room and wondering where to begin . . . start from the top. Sounds basic, but it is a fool proof trick to cleaning well. When we are cleaning/dusting/scrubbing/etc we should always start with the top. Dust the tops of your window sills first then do the windows and finish up with the bottom or window ledge. Why? you may ask. As you clean, the dirt and dust particles are floating around and tend to float downward. So if we start from the top you will have to opportunity to 'grab' them all and get rid of them. Things to remember about Top Down Cleaning: 1) When cleaning a large space do all of the dusting first: A) Ceiling Fans and corner cob webs B) Tops of window blinds, blinds and window sills C) Tops of all other flat surfaces in room. 2) After vacuuming/cleaning furniture THEN vacuum/mop the floor 3) As you finish cleaning, put away the products you use. In cleaning there are many fundamentals that form our operations and enable efficiencies across board and effective productivity.Even in this Artificial intelligence era, those fundamentals can't be disregarded. Looking closely at fundamentals, we find that there are some generic and some tweaked to fit the innovativeness of the cleaning operator concerned. As a company, we have embraced the fundamentals of sweep, dust and mop as one of those that we use daily. Ofcourse we know that it may not be the case 0.09% of times within our operations yet it is more the case than not... Especially as we operate predominantly, for now, within the Tropics, when we get to a cleaning site, our cleaning operatives are encouraged to engage-always bearing in mind one of our essential fundamentals to sweep then dust then mop [99.99% of the times].
