The joy lies in the detail...

Everyone can clean but not everyone is meant to clean. Ouch! a major paradox isnt it?! Yet it is the truth of the matter.

Detail is essential in providing a satisfactory clean job but not everyone can comprehend the need.

Most of us want to 'rub and shine' (clean on surface level) and jet off to other more 'dignifying' tasks. We forget that the dignity lies in covering all nooks and crannies; not ignoring those unseen areas and satisfying even the most difficult or finicky of clients.

Pleasee, pleaseee and pleaseee, lets not take away the joy of detailed cleaning...

We all deserve a clean milieu!

Keep smiling...!

Bebugs...(Yikes!)

Are you aware that bed bugs (climex lectularis) and the 'tropical bed bugs' (climex hemipterus) can infest any type of human living quarters and may not only be found in housing and short duration accomodation such as hostels and hotels, but also in cinemas, buses/trucks, police cells and holding areas. These organisms are attracted by exhaled carbondioxide (CO2) and body heat and not just by dirt. They feed on blood, not waste, so in short the cleanliness of their environment has an effect on the control of bedbugsz but does not eradicate them... Be informed!

When we are cleaning/dusting/scrubbing/etc we should always start with the top. Dust the tops of your window sills first then do the windows and finish up with the bottom or window ledge. Why? you may ask. As you clean, the dirt and dust particles are floating around and tend to float downward. So if we start from the top you will have to opportunity to 'grab' them all and get rid of them. Things to remember about Top Down Cleaning: 1) When cleaning a large space do all of the dusting first: A) Ceiling Fans and corner cob webs B) Tops of window blinds, blinds and window sills C) Tops of all other flat surfaces in room. 2) After vacuuming/cleaning furniture THEN vacuum/mop the floor 3) As you finish cleaning, put away the products you use. By the time you are finished the entire room will be done and you won...
